Information
The Gatsby Plaster Coving is a traditional stepped Art Deco plaster cornice. It is the very definition of 1920's sleek design. This simple and stylish minimalist coving is distinctively 1920's and 1930's and works well in both period and modern homes.

Named after the 1925 novel published by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby follows an inspirational cast of characters living in the fictional town of West Egg in the summer of 1922. The story focuses on the young and mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby and his quixotic passion and obsession for the beautiful former debutante Daisy Buchanan. The story addresses decadence, idealism, resistance to change, social upheaval, creating a portrait of the Jazz Age that has produced a most unique style that is synonymous with the
Roaring Twenties.

This coving has a projection of 58mm (2 1/5 inches) and a drop of 78mm (3 inches).

A faithful copy of a period design, this plaster coving is hand made using traditional techniques with the finest grade gypsum plaster hand cast in finely detailed moulds.

Whilst this plaster coving comes in lengths of about 2.4 metres, we sell this coving by the metre.
