Period Style Floral or Patterned Plaster coving, sometimes referred to as cornices, is a range of coving featuring delecatly cast decorative elements such as floral patterns and vinces or traditional motifs such as swags or egg and dart friezes. Our Plaster coving is all hand made using traditional techniques and period designs and is available in many different sizes.
Decorative traditional patterns emerged in the Georgian period as individuals looked for classical inspiration, these developed during the Victorian and Edwardian period into floral friezes. In the 1920s, the Art Deco period stylised many of these traditional plaster decorations.
